KB TALENT

2004 Graduates of Texas State University, Ricky Brown and Bruce Kalmick were determined to make a legitimate splash in the Entertainment world. After working briefly for Milam and Company in Austin with event production and a very brief stint with an Austin Booking Agency, Bruce confronted life-long friend Ricky Brown, who had worked for a summer with BMG, about starting a booking agency of their own. After a 3 hour meeting and a couple phone calls to the folks, KB Talent was formed and running on pure motivation to succeed. It didn't take long for Ricky and Bruce to sign their first real national act, The Bastard Sons of Johnny Cash, and thus the learning began. Having never booked a full national tour, the guys took hold of the talent buying world with extreme force and conviction. Within days the two twenty-three year old entrepreneurs had solidified touring on short notice for BSOJC and the rest is history in the making.
